I have spent the last two and a bit weeks traveling around Italy with Cara and what a wonderful place it is. The time that I spend choreographing the travel was well spent and I think that someone must have been smiling down on us (well actually as I read Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion while away I’m not too sure).

We started in Naples, then to Rome, Florence, Milan (where I got bitten to shit by something) and finished in Venice (links to the hotels which we stayed - all fantastic except maybe the one in Milan). All lovely places. If you’re ever in Venice you have to stay at Residenza Laguna - fantastic hotel right in the middle of everything, and the people who own it are just wonderful.
