The other day whilst I was stumbling across the interweb one site caught my attention. That site was sketchcast.basement.org. The author, Richard Ziade, is putting forward a new way of blogging - a cross between sketching on a white board and podcasts - he calls this sketchcasting.

I’m sure for some people this form of ‘blogging’ will not be of any use, but it set my mind ticking over. As a teacher I’m used to writing on white boards to illustrate my point, and now that I’ve started blogging about Psychology too there must be a way that I can use this? I’m playing around with the idea of a ’sketchcast’ of each of the 20 core studies.

As soon as I can find a good drawing tablet that will work with my MacBook or Ubuntu then I can start playing. If you’re wanting more about what a sketchcast is or how to do it yourself potter over to basement.org.
